It was very impressive...

"I'm new to the new millennium of chiropractors. I last went in the very early 90s when it was a lot less specific. They would crack everything. So that's what I was expecting when I stepped into Cromwell. Not the case. They do a very extensive review of your case with x-rays and all before they start adjusting you. It was very impressive. I saw Dr. Cromwell and Dr. Wetherbee. Both are gentle souls... considering they crack people for a living. :) Cromwell is jovial and very caring. Wetherbee is just a sweet guy. And their office staff is very nice. The person you first see to give you your evaluation (don't know her name), but she is very, very nice - puts you right at ease. Good hiring on their part."

"The Cromwell Family Chiropractic Clinic has been a great help to me, specifically Dr. Cromwell. He has helped me heal more than any other chiropractor I have seen throughout my life. When I came here around a month ago, I was in bad shape – not just my lower back, which always needs ongoing attention, but my upper back area (neck) and even a major issue in my right middle back. Through different manipulative techniques, Dr. Cromwell has been modifying my skeletal structure to help rebalance my entire body. I have probably needed this for years. I am so grateful. "I have been living with foot pain and disfigurement for years. My primary care doctor said surgery was my only fix. I began chiropractic care for general body care and mentioned Dr. C my foot pain and issues. Dr. C uses soft tissue manipulation on my feet to treat the pain and disfigurement. Every week I look forward to the foot adjustment the most! I can feel when it's time to see Dr. C again. He works miracles with this style of chiropractic care. He saved me from needing surgery. Next you will have a consultation with one of our doctors to discuss your health issues and the current state of your nervous system. Your first visit is designed for our doctors and staff to learn more about you, your condition and your expectations to determine how chiropractic care will help you meet your goals.

Initial Treatment

After your consultation, a Chiropractic Assistant will perform a complete chiropractic examination as well as other standard neurologic, orthopedic, postural, and physical examinations. These examinations will help us pinpoint the location of the nervous system interference that is causing your problem. The tests also let us know of possible contraindications to adjusting the joints of your spine.

Digital X-Ray Studies

Cromwell Family Chiropractic offers the latest, state-of-the-art digital x-ray studies. Your condition may require us to take digital x-rays to see the exact position and condition of spinal segments. Digital x-rays help us rule out serious conditions and assist us in developing the most effective treatment plan for you. Many people are amazed when they are shown their digital x-rays and can see their misalignments and degeneration themselves. Even restrictions in motion that are not detectable by the patient can be visualized with radiography.

Once all the information and examinations have been performed, one of our doctors will give you a report of findings to answer the three most popular questions:

Here you will see an overview of your problem and explanation of how chiropractic will help you. You will be shown your digital x-rays and all questions will be answered.

Treatment

Based on what the doctor finds wrong in your spine and nervous system, you will be provided with your first spinal adjustment to begin the healing process. Please let the doctor know of any concerns or fears you may have about a particular type of adjustment so the doctor can provide you with the most comfortable and effective adjustment possible.

Wellness Program

If you are in pain when you first come into our office this may include ice application instructions, avoidance of certain activities or positions, as well as home exercises and/or stretches. Every body is unique and different and therefore everyone requires a unique and customized wellness plan. The foundation of our overall wellness lifestyle is maintaining healthy posture and good spinal alignment, eating a healthy diet, taking supplements, keeping your weight under control and stress relief.
