Every person has 37.2 trillion cells that all work together to run the body. There are many different types of cells that join together in clusters to form body tissue, organs, fluids, nerves, glands, fascia, cartilage, bones, and all the other parts of the body!
You have different types of cells which all:
- Are microscopic in size
- Have flexible membranes that hold the cell together
- Have many tiny organelles inside which perform the actions of that cell
- Must be a specific size and shape
